PROCEDURES AND PROCESSING

There are different types of administrative procedure to follow depending on the type of building in which it operates and the type of works that are intended to be carried out, which vary according to the municipality.

ACCESSIBILITY

Access from the public highway to the interior of the building, access from the building entrance to the different floors or access the different areas of a certain floor.

WORKS MANAGEMENT

Any intervention that is set as an objective to improve accessibility conditions in a Community of Owners will require a preliminary study.

COMMUNITY OF OWNERS

Accessibility works are traditionally associated with people with disabilities. In some specific cases it is true that people with disabilities are the main beneficiaries, ("make the ramp for the lady in a wheelchair", etc ...), however, in most cases there are many more people who benefit from such actions.

Accessibility in general, from the perspective of Design for All, is an added value, since to the basic considerations of use for people with disabilities, comfort considerations (comfort, safety, ...) for other people are added .
